Welcome to Blenheim, and to our B&B / Homestay Accommodation    

Riversdale Lodge

Riversdale Lodge is in it's own private grounds and on the banks of the very picturesque Opawa River.

We are situated in the heart of Marlborough's wine growing region, on the North East coast of New Zealand's South Island.

Relax and let us do the cooking, while you unwind in the outdoor Spa or go for a row on the river.

You can eat in our dining room, or out at the rivers edge on the deck and take in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Blenheim has it's own airport and we will be happy to pick you up, should you require a lift.

We are only 25 minutes from the ferry terminal at Picton, if you are arriving or leaving the South Island.

We are ideally located for taking day trips to Nelson and the West Coast or Kaikoura for perhaps a spot of whale watching, see our Links page for activities in the South Island.

Blenheim has just about everything to offer, to name just a few:

Golf Links, Tennis, Croquet, Swimming, Fishing, Punting on the river, Canoeing, Walking, Hiking, Shopping Centre, Gym, Omaka Aviation Centre and a wide variety of cafe's, restaurants and bars.

Why not book an afternoon or evening trip on one of the river boats and enjoy a meal and some of the fine wines that marlborough has to offer.

We can pre-book you a tour, which will pick you up from Riversdale Lodge and visit some of the many vineyards of Marlborough. Dine out at the vineyards and enjoy their hospitality. See our Links page for details.

You can simply loose yourself in the beauty of the Marlborough Sound. Spend the day hiking, canoeing, fishing, or sight seeing, etc.

Or simply book a ride on one of the many mail boats and enjoy popping into the many coves and hide away's while your boat picks up and drops off the their daily mail.
